Chilly December Day

When I woke up this morning and saw the temperature reading a balmy 28 degrees out, I could not help but think of a warmer summer afternoon. Crossing the Puget Sound, one is bound to cross a diverse population of sea going vessels. On this late fall afternoon, I caught a wonderful view of a sailboat making its way back to the docks on in Seattle's Elliot Bay. With the sun almost below the Olympics Mt. Rainer is shown in her full glory!

Now that..... That is a Sunset

February 22nd, 2009

Now although it is mid February, one might be tempted to think its mid May and summer is nearly upon us. Yesterday I was able to capture this shot on the shore at Edmonds. We could all use a little reflection time, and there is nothing like a magnificent sunset behind the Olympics to inspire our souls.

A Great Reprieve!

January 19th, 2009

On the eve of this historic day in our nations history, i thought it would be appropriate to share a picture from yesterday at Edmonds waterfront. After going in the morning and observing all the diver traffic headed out to several sites just off shore, I knew a return for an evening sunset was not an option. I have several pictures which I thoroughly enjoyed from last evening, this has to be close to the top. I encourage you to take a moment and think of how far we have come as a country, but even harder about how far we have to go....
