Now Presenting: The U.S. Coast Guard

With the spotty weather, you have to get all the training in you can. The U.S. Coast Guard has done a swell job of it here, using their fast response boats to speed to a simulated rescue roughly 1nm away. The Space Needle provides a great backdrop for the shot.

Morning Workout
March 1st, 2009In the northwest, alternative lifestyles are trendy, regardless of age. This woman was using her scarf as a workout tool in a stretching and aerobic exercise tool. With the backdrop of the Seattle skyline and Mt. Rainer as her motivation, who needs an instructor!?
