Yesterday was the inaugural game for the Seattle Sounders. It was a great match and what better setting for a futbol match then Qwest Field with its dynamic background.

On this St. Patty's Day we say goodbye to a Seattle icon. The Seattle PI is no more, at least as a "regular" newspaper. It is sad to see something so iconic disappear, however, the only thing I am certain about is nothing lasts forever, regardless how iconic or "big" it is. I wish all those at the PI the best, and welcome to the unemployment line. The Title means Such is Life. Unfortunately, its no longer, " In the PI"

Morning Joe

The Ides of of March, here it comes, and.... there it goes, halfway through the month and you might think we were smack-dab in the middle of January.
What a great day to start the day that with a nice piece of pie and a warm cup of joe on a cold day.

Tulips

After a gloomy weekend it is always nice to start the week of right and and colorful. It is apparent, even if the weather is not, that spring is on its way. Tulips are on the horizon in the fields north of Seattle.
