What a splendid view! Mt. Rainer provides hikers and tourists alike with views from up to 100 miles away. Up close its even more stunning. On this day the clouds subsided just enough to allow a clear view of the top of the mountain.

Good By Summer
October 1st, 2009
Today we, well at least I, officially move into fall mode. This is a capture of one of the last sunsets of summer from the pacific northwest during the summer time as light slowly fades out behind the Olympic Mountains.

Perception
September 30th, 2009
Today was the first day I have actually thought, " Man I might need to wear my jacket today." My next thought was that I could not remember the last time i wore my jacket this summer. It has been an immaculate summer here in the Northwest, seemingly never ending. However it has come to a close, and as we look forward to fall and winter, I reached deep into the recesses of last winter and found this gem from Snoqualmie Falls. Just a short 30 minute drive east of Seattle, the falls are a barometer of the fall and winter.

Talent
September 29th, 2009
In the city which is Seattle, the Vespa is one of the top 3 modes of transportation. This woman has her ride down pat, as it is loaded to the brim with odds and ends. My only hope is, that she doesn't have to take emergency evasive or braking action!

Mr. Red Bench
September 28th, 2009
Walking through the streets of Seattle, sometimes its wonderful to walk through the side streets and poke you head through little niches and enclaves and see what is there. Today, I knew what I wanted to do as soon as I saw this bench. On a little stoop leading to a doctors office surrounded by old brick sat this comfortable looking red bench!
