Blue vs Sky

Although I don't normally like to posts too similar of themes close together, I can't help it this week. With this shot i was awed by the sparkling blue-aqua glass glistening in the breaking afternoon sun. What a day to be alive.

Fire and Glass

During the three day weekend, I was able to take a ride down I-5 to the Museum of Glass in Tacoma. As we sat and watched the glass artist cultivate his latest piece of work, you could feel the intense heat from the oven (30 feet away). As the artist worked, I snapped this picture, as he pushed the soon to be martini glass into the fire, the care finesse for the art are visible in the conviction of the work.

Slow Boat to Nowhere

As Fall creeps up on us this week, i thought it would be nice to try and slow down time.... if possible. If you take a ride on a local tug you are sure to step back a couple of years to a time less stressful, less chaotic, less complicated, you get in the boat and go. Simple, Sweet, and Easy.
