America's Past Time

As a we hit the middle of summer, I thought today I would pay tribute to tonight's MLB All-Star Game in St. Louis. Although it is 2,500 miles away, it makes us think how much sports mean to us as Americans. Good or bad, they play an intrical part of our psyche. As the mercury shot into the upper 80's as the firehouse indicates, that doesn't stop the die-hard of softball players!

In the great northwest, we are known for our outdoorsy spirit. In Seattle you are not far away from magnificent views. This is an hour northeast in the cascades. At the peak of the hike you come through a set of trees and are greeted by this magnificent view! Only in the northwest.
