As I stepped up to the shore, this lone seagull evoked no fear and was determined to enjoy a slight break in the clouds and fog to enjoy the somewhat hazy view of an otherwise clear Seattle. Although this picture was not taken from Alkai Beach it was close enough to warrant a diversion in the day.

Always a great view of Seattle from the water. I remember many years ago traveling from Victoria to Seattle on the Clipper and enjoying the beautiful view of your fair city. Now that I think of it I did it as a youngster on the Princess Margarite too.
