A Running Thought

April 7th, 2010

As spring bears down upon us all, I find myself visiting the usual stomping grounds. It seems there are certain scenes and landscapes which transcend time. Regardless of how many times you visit or see them, Snoqualmie Falls seem to always captivate the imagination.

With a cascading of powerful water we have to find what allows us to keep our feet on solid ground and fight our own battles against a raging river.

The Gorge at George

December 4th, 2008

Being a frequent traveler across the state, I pass this view often. However, it is not always this captivating with the deep riveting hue of blue in the water. The color stood out crossing the Gorge, on this morning in particular, because of the cold crispness in the air (2 deg f).
