Colors of Fall

As we enter the first full day of fall ( it started at 2:18 pm yesterday), there is a sense of summer still around with the 80 degree temperatures. However, they are not to last, this is Seattle you know! But what joy to look forward to in the fall as the foliage changes, these are come flowers sitting on the corner of 1st and Pike, a taste of what we have to look forward to in a few weeks!

Pike Place Perfection

On a crowded afternoon Pike's Place in the midst of summer is a site to behold, as a Chuck Perry, might attest, Almost One A Day, its a wondrous place which every Seattlite should experience at least 10 times. In this shot, who is driving? and who is walking? A gorgeous hot-rod on a gorgeous day.

The economic downturn has a had a very visible effect in downtown Seattle. As I visited the hallowed halls of one of the cities most poignant and celebrated venues, it was all to evident that times are tough here as well. As you may trace the market with your footsteps you will notice a very graphic downturn in foot-traffic as well as vendors, there just isn't the money there once was to support it.
