Looking back into my folder of pictures I found this one and thought I would bring it out. Although this is not Seattle, it is still a city which has its moments. Lovely, Spokane, Wa at night.
On the recent holiday stretch, I had the opportunity to travel to the eastern side of Washington state which had just finished its largest snowfall of record in Spokane. Yet, as the sun came out and began to melt away the piled up mass of frozen H2O, I found this pile geared up and ready for the sun, behind a protective layer of yet to fall, Autumn. It was great to see the sunshine, even if for the briefest of moments.
As of right now Spokane was still recording measurable snowfall and starting the new year off with a hefty plow.
Before I moved to the Seattle area I was blessed to live in the lovely city of Spokane. This is the famous clock tower at high noon, with a lazy breeze visible in the moss tree on the banks of the Spokane River. If you are a traveling sort, this is a fantastic place to take a family on a summers day or to catch a local festival.
