Chilly December Day

When I woke up this morning and saw the temperature reading a balmy 28 degrees out, I could not help but think of a warmer summer afternoon. Crossing the Puget Sound, one is bound to cross a diverse population of sea going vessels. On this late fall afternoon, I caught a wonderful view of a sailboat making its way back to the docks on in Seattle's Elliot Bay. With the sun almost below the Olympics Mt. Rainer is shown in her full glory!

Sports In Seattle

May 10, 2010

Unfortunately over the last two weeks I suffered a massive computer crash which required major upgrading and reinstalling. However, after a brief shutdown, I am pleased to present a picture of our beautiful sports complexes in the Seattle area of Qwest Field (the large building on the left), and Safeco Field (to the right with the lights on) along with the magnificent Mt. Rainer in the background. On Friday we saw our first full sunny day since March 6th. Needless to say many folks were out and about on this lovely Mother's Day Weekend.

Tunnel Vision

Ocotber 7th, 2009

Upon Washington State's National Monuments, it is possible to obtain outstanding views of the Seattle skyline, even if it happens to be from the confines of your warm car.

50% Recyclable

August 10th, 2009

In a city which recycles 50% of its garbage, it is typical to find efficient ways to get around town. Here in a back alley a Vespa is keeping its spot warm for its owner, while the Needle keeps a watchful eye

And then there was......Peace

May 20th, 2009

After a hectic day or week sometimes it is nice to take just a few minutes of precious time for ourselves. I like to read a couple pages from a book or just sit and zone out, however browsing through my collection of scenic pictures can also do the trick. I hope you enjoy this post and take a couple minutes to browse through some of the pictures or of your own, just to take a minute for yourself... I dare you.

Morning Workout

March 1st, 2009

In the northwest, alternative lifestyles are trendy, regardless of age. This woman was using her scarf as a workout tool in a stretching and aerobic exercise tool. With the backdrop of the Seattle skyline and Mt. Rainer as her motivation, who needs an instructor!?

Best Seat in the House

February 29th, 2009

Seattle can be beautiful from almost any vantage point, you just have to take a second to lift your head up, and look. This is a run down dock on the outskirts of the industrial zone around Harbor Island, with a great place to dangle your legs over the edge and ponder the meaning of life.
