Old Rusty

April 22nd, 2009

Well it has been a long and busy week and I apologize for the absence. However, I am back, with some excellent and exciting photos to share with you! This is a vintage gravel shoveler, which has been left right next to the old quarry it used to service and is left in what looks like a scooping motion, as if it will never fail it its duty.

Circa 1940

January 7th, 2009

On a wintry day in early 2009, I was able to catch this authentic 1940's barn and outhouse near a nature reserve in northern Seattle. The ability for the green to really stand out on a bland day makes for a striking picture which accentuates the rustic and antique look of the buildings.
