The Indian and the Surfboard

November 19th, 2009

As you walk down the stairs out of Pike Place Market, you might catch these two side by side in the apartments across the way. I have seen them for years, however, just recently I decided to snap them on the way out.

Musical Chairs

July 15th, 2009

What a great day for musical chairs! I took a day walking around Seattle just looking for symmetry. These chairs were in art walk park otherwise known as SAM. Its fun to look for things you don't normally see.

Spring Beauty

M
ay 6th, 2009

Well it has been more then several days since my last post. I am getting busier by the minute. Starting my Masters Degree this upcoming week, and got a new camera. Not sure if that is a good combination but, hey! who doesn't like a challenge?

I finally got my Nikon D90 and, wow, truly blown away by its capability and functionality. I was a little more then bummed by the preposterous amount of rain we have had this week, yet I was determined to find a rain break and snap a few pics. This is around the corner at a local dog trail. Ahh, the beauty of spring.

The Calm Before the Storm

December 17th, 2008,

This picture is sunset on the eve of one of the worst series of storms the Northwest has seen in the last two decades (King5.com) Yet, here is a solid red hue of blissfulness and a sweet surrender to whatever arises to the next morn.

Found an interesting poem about the storm here. It might make you laugh... beware.
